Scott's approach to training is very different to personal trainers you will find in the gym. He is concerned about your whole well being and not just getting fit. He gives advice on everything from your posture to nutrition and from flexibility to your mental health.
I had my 2nd child in October 2004 and started training with Scott in January 2005. As I never completely lost the 'baby fat' before the 2nd pregnancy there was a lot of work to do. I also had post natal depression and Scott helped so much in terms of training, nutrition, supplements to take, getting lots of rest including having weekly massages and all of this helped immensely.
Scott's motivation levels are very high. After a session with him you just want to carry on and learn more.1 year on the baby fat has gone and I am a lot leaner and stronger than I was before baby No.1.
Be patient though results don't happen overnight, its no quick fix and there is a lot to learn. You have to understand its not just about getting hot, sweaty and out of breath every time you train.
I was looking for a fitness coach who could also give nutritional advice and found Scott on the web. CHEK trainers have a holistic approach and having worked with one previously, I already knew how good they were.
Scott asked me to complete NLC NUTRITION AND LIFESTYLE COACHING and diagnosed a series of problems. On his advice, I switched to a completely organic diet and started to drink a lot more water at room temperature. I found this very hard at first because I love tea, coffee, wine and beer! Scott also encouraged me to get to bed earlier to regulate my metabolism. Until then I had led a very erratic lifestyle, often being awake until 1or 2 am. Having taken Scott's advice and I started to feel a lot better physically.
Scott introduced me to chi gung, which I find excellent because I can exercise and not get out of breath. Doing small movements and standing still felt strange, but it has really helped my mind to become clearer.
Compared to a run-of-the mill trainer, Scott's fees are high, but he really knows his stuff and is an excellent motivator. Scott can really help you look and feel your best, but above all he really cares about his clients.
hi My name is Charmaine Thomas and I am a professional dancer.
Scott Bryant has helped me improve on areas of weakness in relation to my dance career. My problems related to strength and core strength. Scott was able to develop a programme for me to improve my upper body strength. For instance as a Cheerleader I was unwilling and unable to stand at the base of a pyramid, but Scott helped increase my overhead and core strength to over come this problem. I have also had rotator cuff problems, which with Scott's help, I no longer have pain in my shoulders.
I would highly recommend Scott as your first choice in personal training as his knowledge is excellent and he has a very caring manner towards you whether you are a male or female client.

To Whom it May Concern
Scott is an excellent trainer, he is motivating, encouraging and knowledgeable. He always pushed me on to finish my reps or lift a heavier weight when I would have given up long before. Scott explained the exercises to me, told me which areas I was working and how it would benefit me, constantly ensuring that I was performing them correctly.
Scott is a sensitive trainer - he has the ability to recognize when you are having a bad day and adapts your programme accordingly (and puts up with your bad moods!). He is proud of you and the achievements you make and rewards you with praise and encouragement for your progress and effort - which is inspiration enough to push yourself further.
Scott is always on hand with hints and tips on diet, exercise and health in general. He really enjoys what he does and it shows in his enthusiasm and knowledge, and it's catching - I find myself telling others the information that Scott tells me.
I would recommend Scott to anybody who is looking for a Personal Trainer - he is honest and firm but friendly and easy to get on with and, most importantly, he gets results.

My name is Lachlan Freeman I am 12 years old I have been working with Scott for about five months with my friend James Donavon, who is twelve
years old too. I have already felt the difference even though I have
not been working with Scott that long. Scott really helps you with what
to eat and what is bad for you, and he is an extremely nice guy. Which
makes it even more fun to work out with him. He has been teaching
James and I Kick Boxing and excises on things like the Swiss ball
which helps your balancing. He has also been helping with things that
help are balance, and academic work. This means my life at school does
not only improve in a sport aspect but also in class. I also feel that
I am beginning to sleep better and my attention at school has
improved.

My name is James Donovan, and I am 12 years old. I have been training with Scott Bryant for about a year and already I have felt a difference; not only in body but in mind. I have improved in my academic work, and my body is getting a lot fitter. I really enjoy training with Scott, because he is a really nice guy. He changing his plans, on what we are going to do, depending on me not him. He respects the fact that I might be tired or injured. He is very reliable and never lets you down, except on the rarest of occasions, without letting you know at least 12 hours before. If he is late he rings up, and then adds the lost time at the end of the lesson. He talks to you during your lesson, and thus makes you feel safe and happy. I sometimes train with a friend, this makes it even better. But if I don't it is still very fun. Unlike some other trainers, I enjoy training with Scott. Not only does he help you in your lessons, but he gives you information on what to eat at home. This means that you get fit and stay fit. Before I could never win any races, and then after just a few weeks of training; I won my race. Then I started getting into teams at school and I started feeling more healthy everyday. This meant I had more energy for school. Scott has knowledge in a lot of different martial arts, ranging from Ikedo to Krav Maga. I am dysphasic, so is Scott, and he even helps me with that. Just shortly after training with Scott, and a lot of work revising, I got into a great new school, which I had thought that I might not get into. So Scott has changed a lot of things in my life. He has improved my health and academic work. Thus concluding: If you want to get fit and learn lots of different sports ( like boxing and judo) than Scott is the most reliable and friendly trainer out there.
I have been working out with Scott Bryant since august this year 2004 and I can honestly say that I have gone from being a sack of potato's, and am well on my way to the land of trim taught and hopefully terrific?
I think you get a better body faster by using a personal trainer than by going to the gym.
I will definitely keep up the good fight for fitness if you want to be hot get Scott.

I have no hesitation in recommending Scott. He is an excellent trainer who has shown me a clear path forward and motivated me to levels of personal fitness that I could not have achieved on my own.

I have been training with Scott Bryant for 2 years. Prior to this I was training independently for 1 year.
Since training with Scottmy training has excelled, I am lifting more weights and I have substantially increased in
muscle and body size and have lost fat. I have found Scott unstinting and to be the best and he has always got some thing new to do with the training we do. So if you like hard work and are serious about your health and wish to have a personal trainer then I sincerely
recommend Scott!
But you need to be willing to put up with some pain and Scott's sense of humour.

To Whom it May Concern:
Scott Bryant has been my personal trainer for the last four months. I have always taken exercise and attended the Gym regularly but never seemed to make much progress. Since working with Scott I have noticed significant muscle development and increased strength. I would not have made this progress on my own for two reasons, I didn't know how and I would never have pushed myself as hard as I do when working with Scott.
What you get from Scott is honesty, motivation without any bullshit and a safe and expertly supervised workout. You also get a good laugh and if you're up for it, the toughest workout you can take, which makes you look forward to the next session.

I have known Scott as a personal trainer for several months.Within a few sessions of training with Scott I noticed clear improvements in the muscle tone in my arms and shoulders, the body parts that I was specifically interested in changing.
He is an excellent motivator, who knows how to push his clients to reach, and exceed their goals. Scott tailors each session to the ability and personality of the client in order to help them develop in the areas they want. He is also very focused on the client when training them, providing constant encouragement and assistance when it is needed.
Scott has a wealth of up-to-date knowledge about exercise and nutrition that he shares with his clients to assist in their training.

I am writing this reference on behalf of Scott Bryant THE Personal Trainer!
I work for a Local Authority dealing with Anti-social behaviour. This is front line work and can often become very physical dealing with underprivileged youths, drug dealers and other criminals. I am also a part time doorman at various clubs in London, again I need to have a physical advantage over the 'drunks' and 'yobs' that plague licensed premises . I play rugby for a local team, and again need to be fit if I want to be effective.
I have trained for several years having tried most programmes, gimmicks and personal trainers. Some aspects of weight training are mundane, ineffective and a total waste of money. I have used personal trainers in gyms before, but have never felt that they have given me decent results and indeed value for money.
This is where Scott Bryant comes into his own. I had reached several plateaus in my training, my bench press was going nowhere, there was a certain amount of body fat that I wanted to lose and although I had no major issues with my strength, my general level of fitness wasn't up to scratch! Scott approached me while I was training and offered to 'spot' me whilst I was benching. He offered some advice on foot placement, and to the grip that I was using. Whilst this didn't create a miracle, I found the exercise slightly easier. When I finished my set, he asked me questions concerning my training goals and made a 'promise' that he could make me reach some of these goals within a month if I have a few personal training sessions with him! I declined but over the next couple of weeks I watched him with his other clients and decided to take him up on his offer.
I booked one session with Scott and demanded that we concentrate on my bench-pressing! I found Scott to be very professional in his approach, he has a very tongue in cheek humour, which he uses to break the boredom of training and indeed to spur you on. We used various pieces of equipment and eventually concentrated on my big lift. Although I didn't break the barrier that day, he wrote out a detailed bench-pressing programme for me to use in the coming weeks.
I noticed my progress improve, so I decided to book another session to help me make the big lift. Again Scott helped me to warm up correctly, to stretch properly and work up to the big lift. I managed to lift 120kg for the first time! I was elated and immediately booked more sessions with Scott to help me overcome my training weaknesses. I was frustrated to find that most, if not all of the prime-time were booked up by his other clients. I booked a few slots that suited me and continued to use the best personal trainer I have ever come across.
I have no hesitation in recommending Scott to other trainers. I find that Scott gives me good, hard training sessions using lots of Olympic lift, and general power-lifting exercises, emphasizing the masculine weight training culture. He is however able to adapt to the individual trainer and their needs, and he has as many female clients as male ones.
Please feel free to contact me with regards to this recommendation at the given address or telephone numbers.

Scott has been my personal trainer for over 7 months now. During that time I have totally changed my approach to exercise ,diet and lifestyle and consequently feel much more active healthy and energized Scott tailors a programme to suit the individual, taking into account specific needs (eg. injuries) and personal ambition (weight loss etc ) he introduces new exercises and equipment to ensure that the training session are always interesting preventing the client from getting into a rut. although personal training might seem like a significant expense it really pays off because you can rest assured that your technique is correct and that you're maximizing the time you put in. Having a personal trainer means you cant shirk exercising _they act as your conscience ? scott is extremely professional reliable and caring and l'd recommend him to anyone - regardless of age, gender, level of fitness.
Dear Scott,
Just a quick note to say that I have finally hit my target weight. Since I have been trying for two years and you did it in two months I suppose you deserve a bit of credit !
Seriously, I'm writing this for you to use with other clients as you've been the most motivational trainer I've ever had and certainly the first one to make gym work fun. Please refer anyone to me for a reference if you ever look for new clients or a new job.
